Robin Lim joined M.A.T.E.S. Australia as Co-Founder and Director in 2018 after a 15+ year career in banking and finance where he was an industry leader in mortgages. Most recently Robin was the Global Head of Home Lending products at the National Australia Bank where he was accountable for over $300 billion worth of assets across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. Robin has held directorships on the board of Advantedge Financial Services for over 5 years, Australia's largest non-bank lender.
In 2012, Robin was elected as one of five youth and young adults internationally to be a member of the World Methodist Council, a council that represents 80 million people globally.
Among other pro bono offices, Robin serves on the board of media group, Half Crown Media, and fitness group, HuntStrong International. He is an inductee of Asbury Seminary's international honours society, Theta Phi, and served as its Chairperson in 2020-22.
Robin currently resides in Kentucky, U.S.A where he serves as Assistant Professor of Business, and Director of Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives at Asbury University's Dayton School of Business.
His interests include activating social causes, empowering the "liminal space", embracing innovation and seeing people and organisations achieve their potential. He enjoys sports, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Robin holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Information Technology from The Australian National University, an M.Div from Asbury Seminary (KY, U.S.A). Born in Sydney, Australia, Robin is married to Ruth and has four sons, Jared, Noah and twins Jude and Benji.
